It is the responsibility of each student to register for, and drop or withdraw from, classes at Iḷisaġvik in accordance with stated policies and timelines. If students do not attend classes, those classes will remain on his/her record and he or she will owe all tuition and fees for them. If a student registers for classes and decides not to attend, he or she must drop the classes before the published drop deadline or will be responsible to pay the appropriate tuition and fees.
Tuition Refund
Tuition and fees are refunded in full for courses canceled by Iḷisaġvik College. For students officially dropping from semester length classes, the following refund schedule applies:
- If the student drops during the first two weeks of class, 100% of tuition will be refunded.
- There will be no refund of tuition after the official drop date.
Deadlines are adjusted proportionally for courses that are less than a semester in length. For students officially withdrawing from a modular course, a course less than a semester in length, the following refund schedule applies:
- If the student drops before 15% of class instruction has been completed, 100% of tuition will be refunded.
- There will be no refund of tuition after the official drop date.
