Iḷisaġvik offers all students assistance with internships, job shadows, on-the-job training, and job placement. Students selected for internship positions must be in good academic standing with the college, degree seeking, and possess demonstrated proficiencies. The work must provide an opportunity to meet academic, educational, and career objectives.
