GED Testing

Iḷisaġvik offers GED preparation, tutoring and courses at Tuzzy Library. GED testing is conducted by appointment at the Iḷisaġvik Testing Center in Building 360. Students wishing to earn a high school equivalency diploma from the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development may register at any time. Instruction and testing are available in five subject areas: reading, writing, science, social studies, and math, as required by the State of Alaska GED program. Sixteen and seventeen-year-old GED students must provide written consent from their parent or guardian to register. Students under 21 must provide documentation confirming official withdrawal from their respective school district in order to enroll. Call 907.852.1812 or 907.852.4050 for further information.
