Iḷisaġvik offers GED preparation, tutoring and courses at Tuzzy Library. GED testing is conducted by appointment at the Iḷisaġvik Testing Center in Building 360. Students wishing to earn a high school equivalency diploma from the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development may register at any time. Instruction and testing are available in five subject areas: reading, writing, science, social studies, and math, as required by the State of Alaska GED program. Sixteen and seventeen-year-old GED students must provide written consent from their parent or guardian to register.
