Students will study elements of filmmaking including light, sound, and scene prep, story boarding, script writing, camera operation and history of film to direct their own short films. Lectures will concentrate on theory and history; lab will focus on techniques and hands-on skill building. Films will be presented to the Utqiaġvik community for all to see and enjoy.
