Campus Security

The safety of our students, faculty and staff is of utmost importance. When the college identifies a potential threat or harm to students, staff or property, college administration will immediately take action to ensure safety including, but not limited to: room searches, lock- down, evacuation, or student expulsion. The residential center and main campus utilize a digital surveillance system to ensure the safety of students and their property. Under the federal government’s Campus Security Act, Iḷisaġvik College must distribute and make available to students an annual security report containing a description of programs established to support safety, as well as related policies and statistics. This report is available online.
